TerisolasiTerkoneksi - Creative data collection method

A self project experience - how i’d like to call them .. is an installation inspired by the effect of pandemic that not only compelled individuals to withdraw from external interactions but also challenged them to comprehend one another within our collective space.

This experience can be experienced at Indonesian Design District, Jakarta

Participants were invited to express their emotions and depict their self-perceptions on the tablet .. and once they are done it can be sent to be projected into the room screen.. all to create a message that we don't have to be the same to share a space.

This is actually a creative data collection method which i find very interesting

However, I encountered a challenge when it came to the installation's presentation. Without clear information about its purpose upfront, it unintentionally attracted children as if it were a playground, potentially affecting the accuracy of data collection.

Nonenthless, appreciate the creativity and a good reminder too for me about clear communication 🌻
